With over four decades of diverse professional experience, I am not your typical politician—I am a strategist, a financial expert, and a lifelong resident committed to the 7th Ward. My career is built on a foundation of 20 years as an accountant and business consultant, where I mastered the art of fiscal responsibility and economic growth. Complementing this is 22 years in the political arena as a strategist and independent lobbyist, giving me the "insider" knowledge needed to navigate City Hall while maintaining my "outsider" independence.

 

As a dedicated entrepreneur, I own three media companies that broker tours for international entertainers, and I have spent 15 years consulting in the hospitality industry. This unique blend of high-level finance and creative industry experience allows me to see the 7th Ward’s potential through a lens of innovation and job creation.

 

I am also a scholar and a writer, holding degrees in English Literature, Technology, and Communications. Currently, I am pursuing a Doctorate in Entrepreneurship and Not-for-Profit Organizations at Governors State University to better serve our community’s social fabric. Most importantly, I am a family man with three children and a grandchild, fighting to ensure the 7th Ward is a place of opportunity for generations to come.
