THE PLEDGE
I am running for 7th Ward Alderman because I believe the office belongs to the people, not the politician.
To prove my commitment to our neighborhoods—from South Shore to Calumet Heights—
I am making three fundamental promises:
• Donating My Salary: I will not accept a paycheck for my service. Instead, my city salary will be donated back into the 7th Ward to fund youth programs, community beautification, and local non-profits.
• Adhering to Term Limits: I believe in fresh ideas, not career politicians. I will self-impose a two-term limit to ensure the office remains focused on progress rather than re-election.
• An "Open Door" Policy: The ward office will serve as a community hub. Whether it’s a housing crisis, a city service request, or a business proposal, my doors will be open, and my staff will be accessible to serve every resident.
REVITALIZATION & DEVELOPMENT
ECONOMIC
The 7th Ward is a cornerstone of Chicago’s South Side, yet our commercial corridors have been overlooked for too long. My administration will focus on:
• Incentivizing Local Business: Streamlining the red tape for South Side entrepreneurs to fill vacant storefronts along Commercial Avenue and 79th Street.
• Sustainable Investment: Partnering with developers who prioritize community benefits, ensuring that new projects provide jobs for 7th Ward residents first.
• Infrastructure for Growth: Fixing our streets and improving transit access to make our ward a destination for both shoppers and new families.
THAT WORKS FOR YOU
A WARD OFFICE
Government should be a resource, not a hurdle. We will transform the Aldermanic office into a proactive
service center by:
1. Weekly Ward Nights: Regular evening hours where residents can speak with me directly.
2. Resource Navigators: Dedicated staff to help seniors with property tax exemptions and help neighbors navigate city programs.
3. Transparent Budgeting: Giving residents a direct vote on how "menu money" (ward-specific infrastructure funds) is spent in their own blocks.

The 7th Ward is at a crossroads. We can no longer afford "business as usual" while our storefronts remain empty and our voices go unheard. I am running for Alderman to prove that public service is a sacrifice, not a career. By donating my salary back to our youth and neighborhood programs and committing to term limits, I am placing the power back where it belongs: with you.
